Il Comitato Organizzatore in collaborazione con la Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio, hanno l’onore di invitarvi al “3° SHORT TRACK CUP” che si terrà il 24 - 25 gennaio 2004 presso lo stadio del ghiaccio di Bormio. La competizione è aperta alle squadre Nazionali e alle squadre di club membri dell’ISU.
The Organizing Committee on behalf of the Italian Ice Sport Federation has the honour to invite you to participate at the “3rd SHORT TRACK CUP ” to be held on January, 24 - 25, 2004 at the Ice Stadium Bormio / Italy. The competition is open for all Nations and Clubs I.S.U members. There are no restrictions in the amount of entries unless we inform you contrary. 

TRACK
The track is an artificial refrigerated indoor ice surface with the measures of 60x30 meters, protective padding will cover the boards in accordance with Rule 280, paragraph 5 and ISU Communication 1090. The standard track 111,12 meters to the lap with measured curves of 8,50 meters and there will be 7 markers used to establish the curve. The length of the straight is 28,85m. Besides the original track there will be 4 tracks set up to preserve good ice conditions. For all tracks one finish line will be used.
GENERAL REGULATION
The competition will be held under the rules of the I.S.U. concerning the paragraphs for Short Track Speed Skating. 
The organizers reserve the right to change the programme due to unforeseen circumstances.

Senior + Junior A  1500m - 500m - 1000m - 3000m final 
Junior  B + Junior C  1500m - 500m - 1000m - 1500m final
Junior  D 1000m - 500m -   1000m final
Ø Nelle categorie Senior / Junior A si utilizzerà il sistema Knock out .
Ø Nelle categorie Junior B / Junior C si utilizzerà il sistema Knock out e tutti gli atleti accedono alla quarta distanza che si disputa solo come finale, pertanto si avranno le finali A-B-C ecc. secondo il numero degli atleti.
Ø Nella categoria Junior D si utilizzerà il sistema All Finals .
Ø For Senior / Junior A the Knock out sistem will be used.
Ø For Junior B / Junior C the Knock out sistem will be used and all the competitors will run the fourth distance which will be the final, so there will be finals A-B-C etc. depending on the number of the competitors.
Ø For Junior D the All Finals sistem will be used.

Premi al primo - secondo e terzo della classifica finale di ogni categoria - femminile e maschile.

Prize for the first - second and third classed in the relay - ladies and men.
ASSISTENZA MEDICA/MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Il Medico sarà presente durante la competizione e gli allenamenti ufficiali. L’ambulanza sarà reperibile, all’occorrenza, in brevissimo tempo.
Doctor and paramedical personnel will be present at the competition days (also during the warm up). An ambulance will be on standby in case of need.
REQUISITI DI CITTADINANZA RESIDENZA E PROCEDIMENTO PER NULLA OSTA 
In accordo con la regola 109 del reg. ISU e la Comunicazione n° 1117, tutti i pattinatori che non hanno la cittadinanza del paese affiliato che ha presentato la loro iscrizione o che pur avendo tale nazionalità hanno in passato rappresentato un altro paese, devono esibire un nulla osta dell’ISU.
CITIZENSHIP/RESIDENCE REQUIREMENTS AND CLEARANCE PROCEDURE
In accordance with Rule 109 of ISU Communication n° 1117, all skaters who do not have the nationality of the Member by which they have been entered or who, although having such nationality, have in the past represented another Member, must produce an ISU Clearance Certificate.
ANTI  DOPING
Il test Anti Doping sarà eseguito in accordo con le procedure vigenti (comunicato ISU 1121 o secondo ogni ulteriore più recente aggiornamento di detto comunicato).
Anti Doping test will be carried out in accordance with the valid ISU Anti Doping Code  (ISU Communication n° 1121 or any further update of this Communication).
ACCOMODATION / EXPENSES
The participating teams are responsible for meals and accommodation.

Transportation from Milan (Linate or Malpensa) airports to Bormio and back can be pre-arranged if requested on the Final entry form. The price of the round-trip is € 420,00  for a max 8 passengers van.

La quota di iscrizione alla gara per singolo atleta è di € 10,00, da versare al Comitato Organizzatore prima dell’inizio della manifestazione.
Final entries must reach the Organizing Committee by January 14th, 2004 at the latest and must contain the following information:

Ø Name of the ISU Member or Club making the entry.
Ø Surname, Name, sex of the competitors and accompanying officials.
Ø Travel details (date, place, flight number, time of arrival and departure.
       ENTRY FEE € 10,00 per athlete
